I know Whit loves OK GO. Actually, truthfully, I’m not aware of his affinity for their sound (as we have never discussed it) but I am more than knowledgeable of his crush on their videos. How do I know of this crush? Well, because he blogs about the videos…and often. So when I came across this (awesome) video I watched it my ownself a coupla times and then passed it on to my friend (that’s Whit). I’m guessing he watched it a few times, ooowww-ed and awwww-ed over the production and the editing, shared it with a few friends, researched it, and then decided to blog, blog, blog. This is all just a guess, but I think I said that already. Hmmmm…well, regardless of his order of actions, he did blog about it at some point, and the post is great. And that black link above will take you to that blog post, where you could read his comments on the video and have just as much fun watching OK GO sing “This Too Shall Pass” while participating in the amazingness which is one very large game of Mouse Trap with the members of OK GO being the mice. It’s that good…all of it.

“Up Up & Away” by Kid Cudi

Despite the supposed topic of the song (it is nicknamed the “wake and bake song”), this song makes me delightfully happy…a great beat.

“Hot Mess” by Cobra Starship

An excellent party song, but a title to never hope to achieve. Keep it classy San FranDisco…

“Telephone” by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce

Two people in three days have said this song reminds them on me due to the “IM BUSY!” line. Evidence that I tend to overuse an inside joke. Also hysterical.

“Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benatar

[While out for lunch. Pat Benatar’s voice recognized in the background]

Direct Quote & Adivce from one of my best dude’s, @mrmattreilly (aka @psuedodate), “You hear what’s playing right now? Yeah, ‘Love is a Battlefield’, Baby. LIsten Up.”

A song to sway to. A friendly easy sway.

“You Came Out” - We Have Band

I’m not sure what is better, the song or the band name.

2010 SF IndieFest: Jan 29 - Feb 18

Put this on the calendar you amazing San Frandisco folks. It’s our own little SXSW right here in the city. It’s going to be rad. It’s going to be worth it.

Im kicking it all off (not, taking it all off) with a Sunday Funday show at Three Parkside and possibly (possibly) my birthday party at The Roller Disco Party….soon to be transformed into Beebs’ Birthday Bash (possibly). It’s all in the works people and it’s all going to be awesome.
